Additional explanation to my previous post.

Secureage is the name of the developer but, although it appears as such in Program Files folder, the actual program’s name that appears in the notification area is SecureAPlus. And because SecureAPlus was causing the problems I described above, I have uninstalled it for good. Everything is now working smoothly again. I am now able to run setups without any issues.
