I’ve downloaded and istalled 8KPlayer, and try to register software, but it’s impossible, there is no registration dialogue. I’ve followed your instructions (NOTE: For those who have installed and activated 8K Player before and don’t see any registration dialog, simply go to C: drive in MY COMPUTER and type %APPDATA% into the search bar at the top. Then turn to IVSCAT folder and delete the 8K_PLAYER_FROM_DIMO_STUDIO(-1) file. After that, run 8K Player again and you will be asked to register it.)but in my Pc there is no IVSCAT folder…pls help or i must unistall this good software. thanks
Try %localappdata% instead and see if it is there.

It should be in c:\users\”your name”\AppData\Roaming
I found it using “everything” searched for ivscat and that is where it was. i deleted the 8K_PLAYER_FROM_DIMO_STUDIO(-1) file as you said and it worked, allowed me to input the new serial.

I installed, and I did get a registration box. quite different than zoommax player with all of its options and filters. this program sets everything for you and only allows you to run your media. so fully automatic. I am ok with that because I am loving the way this thing performs.
