I have problems installing Ability! simply it doesn’t want to install it in my PC. It says ‘wi ndows Installer Installation Wrapper —Setup was unable to find the msi package or patch @ http://www.ability.com/ab6/cabs/6014/AbilitySTD6_FR.msi’ OK ‘ Probably as package downloaded is only 98Ko hmm PROBABLY one VIRUS on this address! But it says that Ratio de détection : 0 / 57. Please provide HELP! Thx!

Cracking deal – something for nothing – that’s exactly what I got!
I downloaded the Win 10 version loaded it.
Tried to activate – that happened, I.e. it’s registered.
Of the following 5 exe’s
Ablaunch – worked (although couldn’t get any further than that).
Abword – Nothing
Abspread – Nothing
Abphoto – that worked once.
Abpresent – Nothing.

Open to any suggestions.

Installed fine on Windows 7.

This is GREAT you guys – same menu layout as Microsoft Office, so it’s like the apps you are used to using at work.

I love others like Softmaker Office for instance, especially since it keeps formatting of MS format files almost exactly where other third party suites distorts, but the user interface IS laid out differently so I have to remember or search for how to navigate a second program different from MS Office. I look forward to working with Ability.

[@Mark] Bummer – just discovered a bug or maybe missing feature. I have a total summing across a range of sheets and it distorts the formula for it.

Sorry, but it didn’t work for me, could you please help me?
I’ve tried both versions English and French but I had the same problem, When I run the program “abwrite.exe” a message box appears saying:
{ Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version
File “ABCELLS.dll”, error 0 }

for “abpresent.exe” and “abspread.exe” it says the same but the the DLL is “mfc100u.dll” not “ABCELLS.dll”

I have Windows 7 Home Premium French 64bit, if this will help.

On the “Windows XP SP3” been installed.
Minuses:
Poor compatibility with Word documents,
The spreadsheet editor is much fewer lines than “LibreOFfice”
