Ability Office downloaded, and installed smoothly, on the 2nd try. I do not sweat such hiccups, because I run at least 2 Windows 10 machines, plus another Windows XP, or Win98, or a Compaq running Linux, off of the same Cisco Modem…
Ability Write opened well, took the License Key quickly, and I like the way the page is laid out. Remember, please, that I am an olde LID (Railway Telegrapher), who used an all-caps Billing Machine, electric typewriter to keyboard Train Orders on 3 to 17 copies of onion-skin paper forms, with a sheet of double-sided carbon-paper betwixt every onion-skin sheet! The huge amount of carbon that got on fingers & hands explains why olde-tyme telegraphers had those nifty forearm and around elbow sleeve-protectors…

A further remark shall be entered, after I complete a short essay on leaky-cable ways to get radio signals inside the not-planned Faraday shields which modern construction creates, when building new emergency rooms, office rooms, and treatment rooms.

When Ability Office was offered last time (April 12, 2016), there was also an offer for the Pro version for $13.49. The Pro version has additional features not available in the Standard edition offered here. Is the Pro version available like the last time? If so, how does that happen?

I want to install this program, Ability Office 6, on an internal drive that is not my C: drive. I have made several attempts to change the installation location only to have it revert back to C:Program File/Ability Office 6. This is not where I want this program install.

Please advise how to affect this change or I will have to forego this offer.

    Installed on Windows 10 :
“This serial number has reached its maximum number of allowed activations. Please contact [email protected].”
    Uninstalled.

    [@Rene S. Umali] Hi Rene,

You do not need to ‘redeem’ the code you have been supplied.

SOS are supplying Serial Numbers which can be used directly in the Ability Office suite for activation.

Hi Gary, As a user of an SOS License for Ability Office you are entitled to Upgrade pricing on our website.

From the main homepage – http://www.ability.com – select “More Options” and then “Upgrades”.

You will find discounted pricing for both the standard edition and ‘Professional’.

Only English dictionaries seem to be included. ODF not supported.
Complaint: This kind of information should be easily available.

    Hi Mudo,

We are hoping to include ODF support in our next release or two.

We have installers for most European languages with proofing tools. Take a look at the Downloads section on our website.
