I made several attempts to download a video from “VKontakte” and “Telegram Kanal”,
but they were unsuccessful.
So this program is nothing special and no different from the others !?I’m not sure about those sites you used for downloading, but I use mostly youtube and a few others and this has been my go-to program for a few years. I tried maybe a dozen or so of these downloader problems and either they didn’t work or had some other issue, but ANT seemed to work the best. I purchased the Pro version and have been happy with the program. I’m sure there are others that do the job, but for me, this one works and I got rid of the others I had downloaded and installed.
Deny, probably you should use Video Box. This is one of the additional useful features of video capture.

Maybe some confusion from the initial GUI that says “Pro Promo Version”. Think all is well. Did not get the 30 day trial flag. Then again, maybe something fixed after valid complaints.
JohnJay / olamoree there is a first time for everything thus this is also a first for me to defend this site over a giveaway as far as i can figure this site offers a service and is also a business the service is to try and keep most of us away from hacking and cracking programs thus helping to prevent the spread of unwanted problems someone is employed sourcing programs and dealing with developers on a daily basis why do you think someone will risk their business by putting up fakes ? ( plus the giveaway comes from a well known and to my knowledge reputable software developing company ) more often than not many of the problems reported here are related to the configuration of a computer or other background silent running processes that conflict with each other thus i find you comment about this being a “scam “highly unfair and uncalled for we are indeed to some extent a family here and so this type of mud is unnecessary .We all can get very frustrated when the blighted program gives blighted problems but try not to accuse anyone in public especially with harsh words like “scam “.
as @king mentioned no scam. i have installed it earlier and the one running now is from 11-24-2021 2.4.2 pro promo.
Still running smooth…… but be aware of upgrading!!!
