IMO this is the best download manager out there and I have tried a bunch. It was offered as shareware previously with a limited amount of time for the Pro version and after trying it, I purchased a license.
Now I see they are offering a free license to the Pro version so I really encourage you to download and give this one a try.

Haven’t found a definitive answer just yet, but I’m wondering if this is the same Antgroup (the program’s developer) that was just mentioned in the recent CNN special on China ? If it is, and this is a Chinese company, I would have serious concerns about the PRC government’s by now well demonstrated interest in bending Chinese companies to their will, and “Hoovering” customers’ usage data.
