It cannot backup to cloud storage space without the local cloud drive clients being installed so there is zero protection of the cloud backups from ransomware encryption. They should include the webAPI based functionality in their software and not rely upon the cloud service being mapped to local folders that ransomware can find and enumerate. Also the home edition is not formally released yet so this is part of an unannounced public beta/release candidate test across various giveaway sites… shame they didn’t pay us for our service of testing their new software with a lifetime license. I’ll stick with my older Pro edition lifetime license that I hardly use anyway…

This company had the nerve to sell a product that they knew would not work on Windows 10. They should have noted that in
their ad. I wasted a whole day trying it to work, and I could not get a refund for it. I WILL NEVER USE AN AOMEI PRODUCT AGAIN!
