The SOS hub was a pain again, the initial download stalled after 5 of the 55Mbs. I was given the option of a direct download, this was corrupted and was only 10.1 MBs in size. The third attempt at downloading was successful, amazingly while using the completely unnecessary for end users SOS hub, although extremely slow, about 25 mins.
Installation had no End User License Agreement (EULA), why would anyone want to install software on their computer without knowing what the installation involved?! I installed it in a sandbox to prevent any suspicious events from occurring, I want to know what I am installing on my computer. I cannot register the software, maybe because of the sandbox, I’ve tried all of what was in the instructions, helpfile and what others have said on here.
It looks like an interesting program, but I won’t put my computer at risk with software that includes no EULA.
I’ve mentioned this in previous comments for other software on SOS, can we please get rid of the rubbish that is the hub? I’ve had more failures with downloading software from this site since it was introduced than I ever had before, I’ve used SOS for some time previously. Invariably the software crashes when the download is a larger one, its a waste of time to me as an end user. I’ll look to trying out new software from other sites while this pointless hub is part of the process.

DanThis program is absolute rubbish! It is simple to repeat always the same stupid instructions as if we are idiots but after doing ALL THAT CORRECTLY- AND MANY MANY TIMES, it still says license is not valid!
What a f*cking waste of time! I am glad I did not have to pay for this crap!I’m running Windows 10 on an intel i5 with 6 GB of Ram and this is what I get while trying to run the software, it will not accept the license key, nor the input for the temporary lisence, Thank you for any input to solve this issue…

Thanks for the offering, but after three attempts I’ve decided to let this one go. Hopefully the developers will clean up the registration/licensing and make it available once again.
Installs ans handels as a brieze. You can make a million different effects and it doesn’t stop amazing me. Perfect for using them as transitions in my next slideshow! Fun, fun, fun

Two days ago I downloaded and installed Artscope with no issues.
Today I have time to try it out but when I launched Artscope I see a message saying I have a TRIAL VERSION! I thought the license was for TEN YEARS, not a trial of some unspecified number of days.
I am not willing to go through what looks like a fairly steep learning curve (the help/instructions given are not very clear or detailed) only to have the thing stop working after a few days.
What happened to the promise of a TEN YEAR license? Mine didn’t last 48 hours![ @Ashraf] Ron Cavin
When I could not get the registration code to work, I downloaded a new copy of Artscope, followed instructions carefully and was rewarded with the news that my copy is good until Nov 2116.
Well and good, but a while later when I wanted to explore Artscope some more I checked and my registration had returned to the trial version.
Frankly this stinks. I have had more trouble with programs and apps from SOS in the last week than I have ever had in the past several years.
Doesn’t anybody at SOS check these programs to be sure the registration and downloads work before putting them out to the public?
I’m fed up with wasting time on these broken giveaways, the trouble they cause is simply not worth my time. From now on, when SOS offers something I might like I’ll just go straight to the author’s site and at least get a properly working copy.
Sorry, Ashraf, you had a good thing at the beginning, but now it’s becoming so much trouble just to get the software installed and registered, life is too short to spend it trying to install and use something that is so broken or poorly designed.[@Ron Cavin] We check all programs. 99/100 times when a user has an issue, it is because they are doing something wrong. For example, I bet you didn’t run as admin.

What about the 1/100 time when we do EVERYTHING right? I posted twice, no one bothered to respond because I am right, I did all correctly and the stupid sw still does not work or register. I wont repeat but yes, yes, yes and yes, I did all that and my systems is perfect and I have .net 4, so what now? You are offering free ws but what about the wasted manhours on such idiotic sw or stupid programmers? Shame!
