The installation program asks an email and password and after filling in them (I already have an Ashampoo account), you cannot go further, the button to confirm staying greyed and inactive.
This is not a giveaway, but a trial.
It installs a software store viewer that also shows what you have access to.
Ashampoo Action Click is not one of the available softwares. When you search for it, it only allows you to install a trial.
This is misleading. Uninstalled their software shop viewer as that is all it is. Nothing more
In a world that moves to on-the-fly apps and AI, Ashampoo’s move to “own” your PC by installing yet another app, always in the background, is not relevant.
I have to suffer it from Adobe; but now every small software house wants a piece of the action? Nero does that , too. wasting energy, cpu, memory.I installed the Ashampoo app and logged in as I already have an account. When trying to get Action Click installed (I had to search for it) I only have the option to show in the collections. No option to install
