GuestThe installer offered here is a downloader for the adware ashampoo app, not the actual program… there will be two downloads assuming you succeed in creating an account in ashampoo app and then select the action click download and that succeeds in being downloaded. Ashampoo are trying to become their own steam app management environment… no thanks.

GuestAshampoo should be as honest as it used to be- provide the link to the registration page- create account or login, get the serial number or key to activate downloaded app. Installing other apps to get to the one advertise is manipulation. I am pass as well.

GuestAction Click installer fails. It just opens with a message…”What Happened?”.
I think the installation file is faulty. OR Antivirus blocks something.Antonio Melo
GuestMuito complicado o caminho para instalar o software e depois a aplicabilidade é nula. Confia nos bons softwares da Ashampoo, mas agora ofereceu algo que não se pode usar. Não vale a pena tentar fazer o download.

GuestI installed the ashampoo access file and then put in my existing email and password, but it only shows Action Click as a trial or paid option. bummer

GuestIt would be helpful if Ashampoo published a library of useful examples of task automation.
It’s not at all obvious how to use this software, even for automating basic tasks.

GuestFrustrating. I followed the steps and never got asked to install Action Click. I’m guessing it’s because the Ashampoo App told me there was a new version, and I installed that. Odd that they wouldn’t consider how that would affect the install process for Action Click, and warn in instructions to NOT upgrade anything, or to redo everything if you do an upgrade. Very inconsiderate to waste customers’ time. I tried to re-run the installation program. It immediately opened a window telling me about Action Click. So I was able to get it installed.
Program itself is very confusing and limited. It won’t let you nest groups within groups, so it’s difficult to organize large numbers of actions. Ok, so it’s probably intended to help you when doing some specific activity. But that help is very limited. Only a small pool of keystrokes can be sent, involving Ctrl, Alt, Shift, F1-F10, enter and Esc. Maybe a few more. But no support for Windows key, so you can’t automate any actions that use that. It’s possible to move the mouse to a screen location, but it’s absolute and not relative to the current window, it can’t even check if the intended window is open. So program windows need to be in exactly the same location every time or it will click the wrong things. No double-clicks or shift-clicks. It supports audio playback but has no way to go to previous or next song, it can only Play, Pause, Continue and Stop. No way to record or give a folder or playlist to work from. It DOES allow chaining several commands together, and you can add a delay step if needed to let one process finish before the next starts. The help manual is very poor, covering only some functions and not matching what the screen shows. Nothing gives examples of how this thing can help you in your day-to-day computer life, or even who it’s for. I see potential and appreciate getting this for free, but can’t see myself using it in its current state.
