Been using the Ashampoo-backups since Dec 2022 and it has saved me through three separate hard drive failures with just a bit of a learning curve. I bought mine but this is a DEAL for anyone lacking a good backup program. Get a good 1-TB standalone drive for general storage AND to hold the backups and you should be good to go. I’m set to twenty backups (one daily) and have never had a problem restoring a drive, but it WILL take a while, so be patient. The Customer Service is exceptional and quite patient and they reply (given they’re in Germany) quickly enough.
I’m very happy to strongly recommend this product.

never use this poo software[@rafa] Thank you for your testimony, useful for people hesitating over the wde range of available back-up options and perrhaps uncertain about this one. By the way, I think this one used to be “Ocster Backup” already quite good and was some time later taken over by Ashampoo and further improved.

Thanks for the offer, but it was very slow backing up my Windows 11 PC; more than twice as long to back up and verify the image as the soon-to-be unfree Macrium Reflect.
How does this compare with Backup Pro 15? These different version conventions they have is really confusing.
