When trying to activate Home Design 6 I get the message that the license has been activated too many times and to contact Ashampoo, so the program cannot be activated till someone at Ashampoo may decide otherwise.

Same thing for me, can’t have been activated too many times, I’ve never activated it yet!Same error for me – the license key was activated too many times.
I also have an account with them, but that doesn’t seem to matter.Ashampoo seems to have currently dropped the ball on license key codes. I’m still waiting for them to send my code after 2 hours and several requests to their website via their own interface.
I finally got the program to download. BUT it is only version 5 NOT 6 as promoted.
How do I get the offered version 6 and not the superseded version?
Ashampoo has responde and I was able to install the program (initially I used the installation kit from their site and the activation key failed). Here it is their response:
“As part of a promotional campaign, you received a free full version (either on CD/DVD or as a download) via a PC magazine or website. The license key you received works exclusively with the installation file that was made available to you as part of this promotion. This license key is not compatible with the installation files of our versions that we offer for sale at http://www.ashampoo.com.
Therefore uninstall the current installed version first. Then restart the computer once, check if all files in the installation directory have been deleted and use the setup the magazine / web page offered for free.”
Where’s the 64bit version ? Keep getting a “Unsupported 16-Bit Application” message on W10 when installing the sharewareonline version of Home Design 6.
I ran the downloader and saved the installer – you end up with a 44KB file – Ashampoo Home Design 6.exe
which is rather small and won’t run.
Look inside and it’s a HTML file!download now fixed – it’s 1.4GB
Will not run on Windows 10. Installer informs that this is a 16-bit program and is incompatible with Windows 10. Tried compatibility settings, setting for Windows 7, still get same error message.
