Ashampoo Music Studio 2024 does not exist on Ashampoo website nor will it download from Sharewareonsale website. Instead a ‘Control/Menu’ program is displayed after installing wjat I thought was ‘Ashampoo Music Studio 2024’

If you want an online program then it might be okay. If you want a standalone program for your computer then it is worthless; it does not work without being logged in to an Ashampoo account.

    Follow these directions:

Run the installation file. Then go to ALL APPS in Windows and in the Ashampoo folder you will see the ASHAMPOO CONNECT link. Launch Connect and, for me it first updated. Once updated you see a list of Ashampoo apps. I then relaunched the original download and the Ashampoo Connect now displayed the Music Studio 2024 app. Click on the install and you are good to go. You will notice an install dialog along the way that asks for a rating and below that is a bar labeled KEY. Click on that to copy and save the key for future reference if desired. You do not have to manually enter the key during the initial install.

I would accept your comment a little better if you gave alternatives.

What programs would you recommend that are better alternatives than Ashampoo Music Studio 2024?

I stand with Gary on this one. Help us by first stating what you found inadequate about MS2024 or how it did not serve your needs. Then, as Gary asked, what would you recommend?

FYI, I presently have nine Ashampoo apps on my PC and all run fine and serve me well. Bear in mind, one person’s food is another’s poison. We all have different preferences/needs.

Connect not showing Music Studio 2024?

I hit a snag while installing in Win 11 Pro. I found I already had the Connect program installed, so I ran it. This caused it to update. Fine so far, but I didn’t see Music Studio 2024 anywhere. So I exited and run the installer from SOS. It restarted Connect, still no sign of Music Studio 2024.

The fix: Like so many programs, when you run Connect it starts a Service in Windows. When you exit the program, the service just keeps on running. I used Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl-Shift-Esc) to find and stop the service. Then, when I ran the installer from SOS, Connect started with a screen to install Music Studio 2024.

So… if you ran Connect any time since you last rebooted your PC, you need to kill the Connect service before running the SOS installer.
