    This is NOT Ashampoo Music Studio 2026, but Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026. Bit of a bummer really as I uninstalled Ashampoo Music Studio 2025 purposely to install the newer version.

    Do people still burn CDs, etc.? With Windows Media Player no longer providing the metadata for CD/DVD media, surely it can’t be long for this world!!
    Don’t suppose you could get the Music Studio 2026 program for us for later on?

    I think Ashraf knows he’s fluffed up this discussions authoring… about the giveaway I don’t think it is capable of authoring Video-DVD or Video-Blu-ray discs but requires all files and folders to be pre-authored… so it IS just another burning program and claims like:

    “This isn’t just standard burning; this includes support for cutting-edge formats like BDXL, ensuring that if you need to archive terabytes of data onto physical media, this software is ready for the challenge.”

    Are just plain silly, BDXL discs and drives currently only store up to 156GB of write once data, hardly suitable for archiving Terabytes of data!!!

    Funnily enough it’s not THIS pages title and product name that is wrong, it’s the main giveaway page that is WRONG! Click through to the download and the installer SOS provide is “SharewareOnSale_Giveaway_Ashampoo_Music_Studio_2026.exe”

    It is not Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026… there is no such product!

    @TK: Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026 does exist. Check the ashampoo.com products page.

    This giveaway is labeled incorrectly, but it does install BS 2026

    [@tagr] I checked and could not find burning studio 2026 on the site linked to on the front page of this offer and yes I have since discovered that the skin graphics and main executable do in fact say Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026 From the inno installer:

    [Setup]
    AppName=Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026
    AppVerName=Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026
    AppId={{0A11EA01-D58E-07FD-7547-4832D9F43A81}
    AppVersion=1.27.0
    AppPublisher=Ashampoo GmbH & Co. KG
    AppPublisherURL=
    AppSupportURL=
    AppUpdatesURL=
    DefaultDirName={code:TargetInstDir}
    DefaultGroupName=Ashampoo\Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026
    UninstallDisplayIcon={app}\burningstudio2026.exe
    OutputBaseFilename=SharewareOnSale_Giveaway_Ashampoo_Music_Studio_2026

    So Ashampoo messed it up themselves as they built the installer with the wrong name and then digitally signed it!!!!
    And obviously Ashraf likely never installed it or checked anything prior to going live. I wonder if he even checks for malware infections before offering products from all and sundry?

    Regardless of the title of this webpage, this is Ashampoo Burning Studio 2026, just as 9 comments above and this one say.

    Ashampoo has two other current versions of their Burning Studio at this time:
    Ashampoo Burning Studio Free, which is on their website, and
    Ashampoo Burning Studio 27, their full function paid version on their website also.

    If you install this version, which requires already having or making an Ashampoo account on their website to register it, this “2026” version is free forever, but the full function “27” version has a few extra and upgraded functions. The main practical difference in “27” is that you can drag WMV, AVI, MOV, and MP4 and some other video files into “27” and it will make the necessary conversions then author and burn an actual DVD-Video or Blu-Ray-Video disc, with a basic menu, for use in your standard TV DVD or Blu-Ray player. Or with this version you can burn regular data discs having those files in the original formats. This “2026” version will only burn data discs, but it can still burn DVD-Video or Blu-Ray-Video discs if you author those files into DVD-Video or Blu-Ray-Video format first using a different program. (Doing that is complicated, buy “27” if you want to make that type of disc, and let Ashampoo “27” do it easily.)

    The “Burning Studio Free” program available on the Ashampoo website also is free forever, but has a few less features than this “2026” version. You can only get this free “2026” version from a promotion like this. After you install and register this free version, you will get an email from Ashampoo offering a discounted price for the full “27” version.

    I think Ashampoo has sent this promotional Burning Studio 2026 and Music Studio 2026 to this site, to post one at a time, and the site owner just goofed which one was listed this one time. I think we will see Music Studio 2026 here in a few days or after this listing “expires” here.

    Or as you noted, now it looks more like Ashampoo itself goofed with building and naming this file! That looks to me like more evidence that we will see Music Studio 2026 here soon.
