Well good luck with this one :( I went there and tried to create an account and after 3 hours I still get this error “The request timed out while forwarding to the backend service.” So I can’t register to get the game. WOW
Now after hours of trying I get a uplay account, download the deakmanager that you HAVE to have. Go to sign into that and get “A Ubisoft service is not available at the moment. You can try again later or switch to off line mode….REALLY???? REALLY REALLY????!!!!! COME ON!!!!!!

So in the end, their server got back up and running, you will need to set up an account, then the interface, then download the 16.0 Gig game, yes 16 GB (about 25 mins). THEN you can play.

Have tried several times to get an account but no go.
Will not work just used 16gb of data and states invalid format turn off 3d, and did not work again, a waste of time and data. Hear the game and Control T also did not work
Did not state that Nvidia GT420 is not compatible…maybe next system requirement for such a big file
[@Danny] these games never, never, never work. It is a puzzle just getting registered and it is a hidden image trying to find out how to download the game and finally it is a first-person shooter when you break everything on your desk out of anger because you find that your computer does not meet minimum requirements. When will I learn?

I set-up a Uplay account with Ubisoft a short time ago, and it was a lot less complicated and frustrating than registering for a Steam account! Really easy — and really easy to log in to my account and get this game into my library: I don’t know why people are having trouble now, unless it’s volume trying to get this game.
You don’t have to download this rather large game immediately: once it’s in your library, you can download whenever you have time.
As for the game: I don’t want to kill anything, or get into any battles unless it’s a battle of wits; but I’m grateful for the chance to check out this famous series.
There better not be blood!
