Ubisoft says that the game is only available at Steam and steam has it for sale for $19.99. Please advise.

Does the game need steam account ?

This game needs Uplay.

“Great game and great offer, I already had it free when I bought my GTX 760 years ago.
I don’t like this process, every time we want to claim something here, we have to fill that ridiculous form every time, just to get an e-mail saying, “You now have to sign up for this program(e.g. Humble Bundle), and also this other possible program(e.g. STEAM, Origin, Uplay, etc.).” Seriously, just tell us what we have to do on your site, when the offer is available, no need to jump hoops.
I’ll just follow another Free Games in another place that don’t make us go through this.(I found one on Reddit, for those who are wondering)

Impossible de télécharger le jeu Assasin avec le loader Ubisoft : le téléchargement tourne en boucle, sans rien télécharger ! (même après m’être logué sur le site avec mon compte) ! ils prennent les gens pour de imbéciles !
