Ran setup. After 2 minutes, it said “setup required a working internet connection.” Downloaded and tried installing several times with the same result.
[@tagr] you’ll need to reduce the security level of the firewall you are using as it is blocking the outbound attempted internet connection to download the real installer… or even temporarily disabling the firewall. A good firewall user interface *should* tell you it blocked a connection attempt and let you decide whether the allow or block further connections from that process. It is better to be notified and momentarily distracted than to lose function and not be told about it.
[ @Ashraf] would you mind telling the real truth on the SE (second edition) cut down never sold edition, letting us know the true restrictions like on output formats and so on rather than writing a fluff piece on the non SE incarnation that we are NOT getting.
That was interesting. The installer took a long time loading and installing files, and then – with no warning – it rebooted my machine. When it started back up, the software was nowhere to be found.
