AlGuestOne year license?
Give us a break….
JayGuestThanks for the 1-yr license heads-up. I nearly downloaded, but will pass. Don’t want to get in a position to need to recover a backup and have the license expire.
LMStaffordGuestI have used Auslogics software several times, been happy with them and downloaded and installed this. However, I did not see that his is only for 1 year. Question…..can the backup files be opened by another sofware or must Bitlocker be used and must purchase a paid version to access the files. (I learned a hard lesson with the Norton 360 backup that essewntially locked you in to buying annual updates to access the backups.)
I SUGGEST THAT IF THE TITLES OFFERED IN SOS ONLY BE A ONE YEAR LICENSE, THE DISCLOSURE BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED UP FRONT.
Thanks. LSLMStaffordGuestFurther to my earlier post, I would like to clarify THE QUESTION IS JUST WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE END OF ONE YEAR? Does the software continue to function as is or is it your option to renew to a paid version. The question remains if the saved backup file can be opened by another program??
Terms and Conditions
This is a 3-computer 1-year license, for noncommercial use
You get free updates for one year
No free tech support
You must redeem the license key before this offer has ended; you will not be able to redeem the license key after this offer has ended
May not be resoldEdGuestI mean really? a one year license, so what your saying is that after 1 year if I decide not to purchase my backups then become useless.
There are way too many good FREE options (Macrium) out there where I don’t have to worry about my backups becoming useless to even bother with this.
This is BACKUP software, not AV software, they really need to lose the 1 year license thing.
S. CooperGuestWhen I try to decide if I’m interested in a product, the first thing I do is look at the user reviews. And the reviews I look at first are the negative ones, naturally. But on your site, when I click the negative review icon hoping to SEE the negative reviews, that’s not what the buttons does — it’s the actual rating button and I’ve accidentally downrated the program (the program I know nothing about). I’ve done that several times on a product I was interested in. I wonder how many of your reviews, negative and positive, happened the same way…
EdGuestRegardless of what the software does and does not do. Backup software should not be charged as a yearly license. For this and this reason alone I will not use it. Because IF sometime in the future I decide not to use it or pay for it my backups become useless.
GaryGuestAfter entering the license key, a dialog states that I have successfully registered Auslogics BitReplica, and that I will need to restart for the changes to take effect. After restart, the program still shows that the program is not registered. I tried again a couple more times with the same result. I had closed the program using the X button in the upper right of the program. Next, I tried existing from the File menu, and when I restarted, this time the program was registered. Since closing a program using the upper right X should work the same way, I see this as a design flaw. Once the dialog shows that the program has been registered, then regardless of how the program is closed, it should remain registered.
sonycGuestThank you for this great program!
