This from Avira website “At the end of the 6 months, the Free version is automatically activated!” And the free edition is not great as it only allows 500mb/mth, no kill switch and no customer support
Germany is part of the 14 eyes Surveillance Agreement networks, so whatever a customer does using any German company the German government can order they provide your surfing data.
Although it indicated Phantom VPN on website, what it loaded was Avira Anti-virus.

Installation is a breeze on Android, PC, MAC OS. Possible to install on AFTV however you will need to use Mouse Toggle to NAVIGATE especially when you need to click on the 3 DOTS. Not the most secure VPN provider they transfer data to US and EU read their documentation on the website to adhere within 14 eyes. Works OK for streaming on the bigger platforms such as Netflix, Prime, Hulu, but not so great on Debrid, Tor, PM, etc.. Avira Phantom VPN uses wireGuard technology for a faster experience. I personally, would not recommend this VPN myself if your looking for high performance, low ling, fast speeds then look elsewhere at other alternatives such as Nord, IPvanish, BTtor, Mullvad, Etc
