I did what Eric suggested and also used the SharewearOnsale license key (although being warned not to do so as the program will not work).
After the license key was accepted and the program seemed to load successfully. Going to the now loaded program and selecting “Help” then “About” it indeed states the program was registered.
Going back to the programs start page I noticed that after the title “Batch Picture Resizer” was the following: ****Unregistered version****. Have not yet attempted to use the program but the Unregistered warning is disconcerting.It would be reassuring if Eric had attempted successfully to use the program.
Sorry, but we have updated the program, you should reinstall the program.
@Everyone: we updated the download with the new installer that SoftOrbits has provided. Please checkout again for this updated download.
I uninstalled Erics’ workaround and then used the new download version and it installed as “registered user”.
Thanks to all with their suggestions and SoftOrbits for providing the update via SOS.
