Yeah…for free. Cry quitely.
RandomGuestI have been using Bitdefender for a while, always got my licenses from this website, but didn’t had a giveaway for a while now and all the licenses were run out, sadly this one links me to a page with an error, 404 page not found on the Bitdefender website
However, Bitdefender is simply one of the best, it has amazing features like a password wallet to store all your passwords in etc.
StevenGuestVery good software. Pity that if you have ever previously used your email address to activate an account you cannot make use of this offer.
Ben GillisGuestI can download but cannot get it to install. Tried everything I know to get it to install but it just won’t.
SlipittomeGuest(NOTE: If you get a 404 error, make sure you are on bitdefender.COM.AU and not a country-specific website such as bitdefender.FR — you may need to use a proxy to get to bitdefender.COM.AU.) Simply follow those instructions and you will be good to go. Take note, if you are on Windows XP or Vista, there will be a special download for you and you will be sent a second license key that works for that special download; make sure to read carefully. Enjoy!
Well I sure did not have any issues, everything AS ALWAYS works great. Now to test out BD and see how it stacks up. Many thanks for the next 6 months of free anti-virus
DENIS DELLALOGGIAGuestGreat reputation and reviews. Still waiting on my license key, many hours.
ira millerGuestThe instructions say that no activation is required, but later requires it, limiting the install to one month trial. Tried to contact support but can’t reach them and now time is running out. I clicked the link to get the activation code, but it only leads to an install page. I guess I’m out of luck on this one.
Nick HGuestI’ve used BD before and liked it but this version is real pain to just try to install, as mentioned in the reviews on this site. The BD log-in website page just go round in circles, I log in and it comes back to the log in page. I’ve managed to set up a new account there but it does not recognise me. I’ve confirmed the new account via email as required, disabled any browser plug ins that might have caused the log in issues – javascript, flash etc. I’ve even tried Firefox with no plug-ins with no luck.
After shutting down the computer, despite having previously successfully downloaded the +300Mbs BD software, on firing up the computer again the ProductAgentService.exe of the BD download tries to download the +300Mbs download again, with no warning that it wants to do this. Other software on my computer detected this, as far as I am concerned software that tries to download anything, let alone a +300Mbs package, without my agreement is a big no no. That is the kind of behaviour that I want anti-virus software to prevent, not do it itself without my consent, especially when I already have the software package.
I’ll keep well clear of BD software in the future, even if they get high ranking reviews.
