Agree with so many comments out there that this is the absolute best there is. Have been using paid version for years (after trying verious others over a long period of time before that) and it would take something unimaginable to get me to change away from Bitdefender now. Can I d/l this offer and tag the 6 months free onto my current subscription without voiding it?
I bought a one year subscription to this a few months ago and have uninstalled it even though I already paid for it. It was just too intrusive with constant popups and nag screens wanting me to extend my subscription and buy their other products like a VPN. I PAID for this and still I got all this. I have tried a number of AV/Total Security brands and this was the worst for me.
Please give it a try yourself for the six months offered for free and see what you think. I just went back to the AV that comes with Windows. It is arguable whether or not it is less than those you pay for like this Bitdefender, but at least the intrusions, nags, popups, etc. are negligible.
I go through the process of creating an account and I just keep getting an error message telling me my account type can’t be used. There’s no info about any other email addresses so I used my own for three different accounts and none worked. It takes me to a screen offering a 30 day trial. Definitely no good to me.
I already had a 1 year subscription, so thought I’d try it with my same account. I was able to sign in with my existing account, but it created a second subscription instead extending my current subscription. And yes, out side of the first page, the rest of it is in English.
