Attention! Be careful with this program. If you clear the cache will be long tormented with a browser. Further not tested and just deleted the program. I warn you again be careful, if you do not want problems and be sure before you test, make a restore point.

Wow, it tiny-izes large JPEGs to about 1/2, yet with more colors than original ( ? ) — worth it just for that!

Rarely for me, a small JPEG here or there came out larger, but only a few bytes larger.

I like JPEGmini, and Google WebP, and they reliably do 1/2 to 1/3rd size, so I guess people are figuring out how to encode only what’s really needed for image information.

I DON’T like that it does not allow us to configure what it will clean in detail, or add our own, nor does it list what it’s about to clean in detail, so we can’t toggle what it found on or off before deletion, it just goes ahead and wipes out entire categories, with no report, no undo, and the categories are not described ‘traditionally’ ( Ukraine ).

Plus the traditional complaints of non-resizable window and the like, and the user interface sometimes does not draw clearly, overlapping occasionally ( version 1 after all ).

I thought that I locked it up by feeding it all JPEGs from a deep subdirectory search, but be patient, it finally offered to shrink all 2,670 JPEG and PNG files, and did it quite well, freeing up ~12 MB, pretty good for already small web images, many around 2 kb.

One JPEG was ~600 kb, it made it ~300 kb, I opened and saved it at 100% in IrfanView at ~1.6 mb, and ( free ) JPEGmini made it ~325 kb, so, not bad all around.

Neither program allowed a 2nd pass, by the way, somehow marking their territory for 1 pass only.

It must be written in machine language, the program is less than 2 megabytes total — geesh!

It lets you DELETE services, be careful.

You can run as many copies of this as you want at once, it’s a self-contained module, so throw it at a couple of tasks by opening a couple of copies.

World peace through world trade, let’s support our Ukraine compatriots here, folks, they deserve a applause for a powerful little program with a lot of personality, and a lot of potential, much of it already well realized — with some refinement and marketing feedback, we have a winning software shop here in Black Bird, they sing!

What, may I ask, does this batch file do?( from the program directory )

With all the well known and tested utilities (CCleaner?), why in the world would I experiment with some completely unheard of software?

I realize that all software is not going to be made by an English speaking person, but they translation is pretty bad. Also when trying to close the program, it says “program is still working” even though it’s clearly finished. Had to kill it from task manager. All-in-all, there’s just too many well established free alternatives out there. How anyone would pay $40 for something like this is beyond me. Even $10 is asking too much.

    [@John] ,

CCleaner was new once, and this does more, it tunes your PC and really does a nice job making JPEGS smaller, which helps my web-page downloaded archive get smaller.

Plus, we need to stretch our experience and not get stuck, why not challenge CCleaner to revisit their paradigm, considering competitive savvy?

I like free Glary Utilities for the [ System Control ] > [ Startup Utilities ], very easy to see what loading, toggle it, and even delay items that Windows 8 or 10 won’t run from the Startup folder if they have Administrative rights, so Glary delays them and runs them itself for me ( SpeedFan, for example ).

Thank you for this software. It works awesome. I do have a problem with it. When I open it. It keeps asking for the key and I have already put it in the first time I ran it, What can I do to stop that from happening.

It’s a very interesting program. It has a lot of things to offer, including “Imagine optimization”.
Yes, it could possibly remove/delete something from your computer.
    Just one thing.
While Black Bird is cleaning your computer, YES, it takes 100% of your drive use (it feels like the computer freezes) in order to COMPRESS(!) your unused files/folders.
I’ve used Black Bird on three of my Windows 10 computers. It took a long time for Black Bird to compress unused files on the computer that had a lot of stuff.

P.S. For those who really care about BB English translation, contact Black Bird and help them.

Do you know how much JUST a good image optimizer cost, like FILEminimizer Pictures?

If you have an issue running a program at startup you can use the Task Scheduler built in to Windows and add nothing to the system. As for startup you can use Autoruns which is portable so also not really adding anything to the system plus in both cases it is free and both are simple to use as well. Just a thought as Glary will add both the installation AND moreso the need for an additional startup entry itself. I feel adding that adds a drain on system resources that isn’t really needed.
