You tried to register BootRacer, downloaded from official web site, using the key for Giveaway.
It will not work.
You must download BootRacer from SharewareOnSale web site.
The key will work in this case.Still unclear what this program does that others don’t?
I get a report stating the boot time as- part
of some optimization software I use. Aside from telling me the number of seconds the bootup took, what useful information is provided?

DanThank you Ashraf! I must say, I don’t like this software at all, at least it did not do anything for my Windows 10 64 Bit PC’s startup.
I ran the test and rebooted and followed directions, I slowly ran test one by one disabling things, and each time it give me a SLOWER TIME after disabling various things.
It is of really no value to me at all because if I want to time my BOOTUP I can simply use the stop watch on my phone, and as for disabling and enabling startup items I can do that using CCLEANER, which ironically is one of the softwares this software recommend for cleaning your PC.In fact, this software upset me to the point I reinstalled everything from image backup because I simply do not trust it, nor does it offer anything of use to me whatsoever!
There was an instance of “TASK MODE” that kept showing up when I tried to access task manager a few times trying to end it, WITH NO LUCK AT ALL, and my PC was slower. I wonder if this software isn’t phoning home information, some of which might be personal and or private and or perhaps PASSWORDS????? That’s a question.
Either way, I don’t like it and that is my review, if the developer doesn’t like it then I could care less! This program is a complete waste of time and borderlines on SPYWARE with some of the actions it takes considering it actually does not DO ANYTHING except give you WRONG information about your PC’s startup time IN MY CASE.

Wenn ich während der Installation lese, mitbekomme “Updating your System”, ohne mitgeilt zu bekommen, was aktualisiert wird.
Weg und gelöscht. Da gibt es vertrauenswürdigere Programme. Updaten darf nur Microsoft. Und manchmal geht auch das schief[@Bob]

DmitryDmitrys.. what kind of childish reaction is that on your responses? You totally disgrace yourself and your product, I could say your professionalism as well but it clearly seems that you lack of it.
I am not surprised that even for a free product it has 61% negative rating!
Do you really speak like this on your “top class enterprise” clients who pay for your products or you just joking with us that we got it for free (after your decision to give it free) because we are expressing our negative opinion ?

First of don’t call me a Liar, that’s really unprofessional. If you would have taken the time to read you would note that I never said the software was “SPYWARE”, I said it behaves similar at times to spyware. For one thing, more Spyware/Malware/Viruses etc… They like to hide in the boot section of your computer before your antivirus is loaded, not sure if you knew this or not.
I give an honest review of your software and your trying to chastise me by downgrading me as a person for having an opinion. That is very unprofessional. My advice would be to take the time to simply explain that your software is a “STOPWATCH and reorganizer for your Windows startup”, the only problem is the STOPWATCH in my experience is broken because it does not take into account various other factors that occur at bootup.
One for example, sometimes there are task scheduled that run at startup that are never listed in a normal startup, these task are updates for various software’s such as browsers like Chrome/Opera etc…..
Although that was not my issue with the time at all, I am not a NOVICE PC USER. Trying to degrade me with remarks as you did does no good for you at all.
Like I said, I give my honest opinion. If you don’t like it, there’s nothing I can do about that because “I AM NOT GOING TO LIE AND SAY IT WORKS GREAT” that really would make me a LIAR, and I am not a LIAR! I find your reply very offensive!
Either way I wish you well and I hope you take into account the review/suggestions and improve based off of them. Don’t get mad at others for telling you what they think, learn from it, take them as a blessing because if you think you know it all already then you are doomed to fail. Cheers!
@Vasilis Greece – Thank you for the kind remarks. I don’t think he quite understands that he didn’t just invent the wheel, he more or less tried to make a square one roll better! Hahahahaha I’m kidding with that remark. It has potential but there is much that needs to be done, for one thing an AUTO OPTIMIZE feature would be a must, and that would require perhaps cloud connection and an extensive library of categorized known software connected to an active server where the auto optimize feature could recognize those software. Just my opinion on that idea. Thanks again!
