I done missed this offer from another giveaway site, and I liked to have shot myself in the foot with a virtual bb gun. I said “No way!”. Since that time, I started coming to the realization that I was going to have to purchase this thing. Now that it shows up here, I am like “Yip yip, hooray!” (I say it that way). I used this before, and it does a fantastic job for my own needs. But its not the best bulk printing software out there. Print Conductor is by far the best, but it is like 5 times more expensive. For personal needs BulkPrinter will do. For business needs, Print Conductor is better. In fact, when the last giveaway ending, I seriously considered Print Conductor given that they have nice, delicious trial.
I’ve only had a quick look at this and it does look like it could be a lifesaver if one got sent a file in a supported format, but when you don’t have the program to open the file…
BUT, there’s one thing that I would have expected to find in a bulk printing situation. And that is the option to choose a different printer for each file type. I have a number of different printers including a couple of Kodak photograph printers, a couple of inkjet printers and a couple of colour, duplex capable printers. I do not want to print e.g. many word type documents on a photograph printer or many photos on a laser printer!
As a result, I’m not sure how much use I will have for this – but it’s good to get a chance to really check it out.
