Ok. I bought a few lifetime licenses for Cinch Audio Recorder (a year ago?). I frequently go (about every week!) into the Settings-menu : Check for updates. Always the same: You are using the latest version : Version 3.0.1
Now, I see on SoS that there is a version 4.0.2 ???
Hello?? I’ve already ask months ago to put at least a changelog on the site. This is so … urgh!
And, why the datestamp is still not changeble in Day/Month/Year (and not as now, only Month/Day/Year). use that setting menu please.

And again: provide a changelog. That’s what every dev do. Thanks in advance!

Oh yes, next to the changeable date format, as a real basic feature: 24 hours (for the rest of the world). Only difference I see between 3.0.1 and 4.0.2 is a high-dpi improvement. Release date and other changes? I think we should guess about is … come on: give the development a boost please!

Unable to open recorder. get the following message

The procedure entry point LCMapStringEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL 32.dll
I have downloaded the program three times and get the same message each time. The program shows up in the installed pgms. list. What can I do to correct.

Thanks very much for the software,
but it looks like it is set up to fail to store recorded music

    The Settings screen says :
Output directory: C:/Cinch Solutions/Cinch Audio Recorder
but we all know – or should know – that the correct path
    is C:\Cinch Solutions\Cinch Audio Recorder

    Version 4.0.2

    Positive :
The program works most of time very well.
There is support available if you don’t find an answer to a problem.

    To improve :
The user interface might become much nicer.
Sometimes a recorded sound is very bad (playback is at high speed, drop outs, heavy noise almost over the whole file)
Program became uninstalled for unknown reason (reinstalled with new key received from support)
Registration key might become unusable for unknown reason. Received new key worked for months but suddenly now “does not exist”. The program is back to status unregistered user for no known reason.

If the problem is not solved, please look into Google search. This NOT a problem of Cinch Audio
