Reviews for Cinch Audio Recorder
Records and adds name of song on Youtube. It deleted a song or two without intervention, but that might have been operator error. The sound is good without having too make any adjustments to the input volume. Pretty good app for free.
I recorded many vinyl albums and cassettes into my PC and of course there is no ID3 tags and the song titles are just Track 1, Track 2, etc. I installed Cinch and played Whole folders through it and it found the Titles and all other ID3 tags on every track except one. I think that is amazing. I’ve been looking for software do do this for ages and now I have it absolutely free.
Easy is a complete understatement. One click recording, best streaming recorder EVER!
I had high hopes for this little program. I installed it and went to youtube and this is the link I experimented with downloading: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Tjlxpf06Gg
I played the music as I was downloading it since I like this sound track and purchased it through Amazon.
After everything was downloaded I went to check out the downloads in the folder and listen to them. There were 48 audio files since this little program downloads the ads that youtube has. Not a problem as those are easily deleted. Out of the 18 songs that I downloaded only one was good. All the rest played back at an accelerated speed. The conversion to .wav file did not work. It showed 2 files but with 0 bytes.
So I have uninstalled it. My honest opinion is it is a waste of time unless the company fixes the problems
