William CarterGuestThank you for a great software, I have used it before and it is the best , again thank you
GeoGuestI can’t download Cyberlink Power Director 15, error download. Is not from me. Please, fixit.
GaryGuestI suspect that either not a lot of users chose to install this or something unique is happening on my system.
The description states that “PhotoDirector 8 Deluxe” is included, but after the install, it does not show up in the Start Menu (with the others) or in C:\Program Files\CyberLink, which has:
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector15
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\ColorDirector5
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\AudioDirector7.Why is “PhotoDirector 8 Deluxe” not installed?
Has anyone else installed this? If so, what results did you get?
fredGuestWhen I tried it, it only installed PowerDirector. None of the other programs installed, except it did install a broken shortcut for its related screen capture software. Hmmm. Could be because Cyberlink DVD Suite Deluxe was already installed on my computer, along with version 8 of PowerDirector (both came pre-installed on my PC).
GaryGuestThanks fred:
I didn’t have any previously, so it might be that their install will look to see if any are already installed. The idea is a good one. If you already have one of the lite or deluxe packages installed, you would not need another, and if you already had the full Pro packages, you would not want a lite of deluxe messing them up.
It is an odd installation that the setup file extracted from the Sharewareonsale.com hub is named CyberLink PowerDirector 15.exe for a package that is supposed to include four different programs.
In my case, it did install PowerDirector15, ColorDirector5, and AudioDirector7, and added links to the programs in the Start Menu, plus it also does install a Start Menu broken link to their Screen Capture program. I have a feeling either they started to swap Photo Director for the Screen Recorder but didn’t finish, or were going the other way around and didn’t finish.
Either way, CyberLink did not get the job done.
