how to register the DMclone since I cann’t find the ACTIVATE from the main program window.
PC: Shows in bottom LEFT corner of program screen (‘least it did for me…)
Slight delay while program checks out that unconscionably long serial number (Who do these guys think they are, Microsoft?) but no tears at the end.
Looks pretty simplistic, reminds me of DOS’ “X-COPY” (which still works on PC’s, BTW) but hopefully will be a bit faster.
Anyway, install “trial” version and then C&P appropriate serial.
Just thought of something off the wall…
Program installed fine, authorized first time. Looks like a different GUI for Aweclone, but probably works well, like Aweclone works well.Irony is (or may be) that the software can only be installed for free until the day ends or whenever. So if the hard drive craps out in the future and the program gets toasted, you can’t reinstall the free giveaway to retrieve the clone.
I guess you could make a rescue disc or USB stick and avoid the paradox.

As John K. Said, I am not going to trust this software because the nature of the task is enormously critical. ENORMOUSLY! If I cannot access the image for restoration at a later date, I am screwed. I will stick Acronis.
