This is not developed by donemax but is bought in an rebranded by them, it is the same code as used in aweEraser or another brands super eraser… none of them publish a version history or explain what’s new of fixed in the latest release if anything. NONE of the explain that if you have VSS or system restore enabled on a the drive that it nullifies the erasure as each write causes the previous copy of the data to be copied into the volume shadowcopy store as plain unencrypted data so can be recovered by any deep scan of the drive because they have no clue about data erasure. They ALL LIE OUTRIGHT in their copy and pasted FAQs

Does Donemax Data Eraser damage HDD/SSD?
No, Donemax Data Eraser is a safe and secure wiper on a HDD/SSD. It won’t impact its lifetime.

Every write to an SSD or FLASH memory device consumes some of the limited number of erase/write cycles so overwrite erasure especially if VSS is enabled on the drive and WILL reduce the usable lifespan of the FLASH based SSD and other storage media.

    Also the FAQ:

What Windows OS does Donemax Data Eraser support?
Donemax Data Eraser is fully compatible with Windows 11/10/8/7/Vista.

IT DOES NOT SUPPORT VISTA ANYMORE!

And none explain what they do with cluster tips that can contain residual data that should be erased just in case.
