This shareware program was fantastic, it installed and activated properly.

[@Sean] there is a free edition but that limits you to 2GByte of transfers and 5 programs but unlimited user accounts. If your pro license expires it may revert to free but if it does chances are you will have already transferred 2GByts or 5 programs so it would only allow further transfers of user accounts but really how often do you need to transfer data from an old PC to a new one? I still have my Vista one running over 15 years on.. I’ve had more disastrous failures with Windows 10 big name branded machines! On those this tool is of no use. One disaster could have ended up in a house fire where an HP Pro machine spontaneously developed a short circuit on the mainboard that if I had not recognised it would have stressed the Li-ion battery and caused it to catch fire all I had left was the hard drive and SSD which I manually transferred what I needed and wiped the rest.

If it’s a limited time license, just consider it as a DEMO version, not as as GIVEAWAY. And pass.

When my HP laptop developed keyboard trouble it wasn’t worth the money to fix, so I bought a refurb Dell online. I thought I’d have days of hassles ahead, migrating my HD to the newcomer. But by a great stroke of luck SharewareOnSale featured Easus-Todo_PCTrans as a download! I installed the prog on both PCs and after a little learning curve to find some buttons I set it in motion. It took almost 11 hours to clone over, but it was about 99% successful. A few minor things didn’t transfer but those aren’t any problem. The prog saved me days of headaches and I’m really grateful to EaseUS and SharewareOnSale for saving my fanny! Thanks, guys!
[@Steve] replacing the keyboards on HP’s is relatively trivial and not expensive, what model was it you could probably get reasonably good money for it on eBay if it would run windows 11!
Does this need to be installed on both machines or only the source?
