Phil KGuestWon’t accept that my Windows 10 actually IS a UEFI drive and won’t install

Same here. Mine is W10 Pro on a PCIEx M2 drive.
JOE DAIGLEGuestI THOUGHT IT WAS A REAL THING NOT A TRAIL THAT DOES ANYTHING THANK FOR NOTHING
JohnGuestIn simple terms, when/if (already happened several times) my Win 7 HD begins to or fails can I pop a new HD in as a second disk and do a disk clone? Either as a backup drive to store or as a replacement.
My understanding is when formatting a new drive the CPU puts a “unique serial number” on the drive for security(?) or to keep someone from mass cracking/hacking a Windows OS.
RichGuestDoes this make changes to the system during install, or does it just interact with the existing system?
danGuestCan EasyUEFIPro help with multi-booting? I have Vista & Win 10 Pro (obviously 10 is my OS preference but occasionally I need files from my Vista folders) and would like to have the option of choosing which one to boot to. If this software won’t do it any recommendations of other software would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance to all those who reply.
DandanGuest….also, can EasyUEFIPro be installed on a thumb drive?
Mike013GuestTried to install it. Have W10-32bit. After installation, says “only for 64 bit”.
Technical details of the present page says it’s for 32 and 64 bit.
So I can’t use it.mmishasinGuestThanks Ashraf for very useful giveaway.

UEFI is modern, more powerful, replacement for BIOS. Performance depends on the settings made there.@ porkchop2018, Phil K, Horrabin
It doesn’t depend on version of Windows, but on MOTHERBOARD (i.e. if MoBo supports UEFI).Best regards
AussieGuestThis seems to be a trial … I don’t see any registration key …

OK … I worked it out … the web page with the license did not open on top … what I got was a blank page … and when I closed it I saw the license page. With the license it runs correctly and not in trial mode.
Sorry for the confusion.

DanDan, have you considered making your Vista drive a virtual hard drive? Then you can access your files and programs as a Virtual Hard drive under your Win10 system.
