Installed, but does not detect my raw flash drive. Windows sees the drive.

I went to register. Copied the license key, input the key and it came back not correct.
FYI: 1 Year license. Internet connection required to activate the product.

After a year will FILE RESTORE PLUS no longer function with the ‘giveaway license’ or will the updates just no longer be available?
