UPDATE: Registration issues have been fixed. Please download it from us again and make sure to reinstall it if you have installed already! Do not use the download you had already because it is of the wrong version!

Oh Man, now it´s just the v.3.7.3. WTF???? No way…..first the present was the 4.0.8 Version, that was not to activate. The fix ist the old Version….omg. Thx for nothing…this waste my time

Hi,
The giveaway offer was always for version 3.7.3 as the description has always stated. There was a temporary mix-up with the wrong version being downloaded however which has since been corrected.
There was no intent to mislead or frustrate. An honest mistake happened which we’re very sorry about. :-(

Salty Brine Software[@Art (SBS)] Good to see you here to support your product and provide an explanation. I checked what I have on my PC and we were given version 3.7.3 on SOS over two years ago. Good to know it’s stable enough that you can still give us that version. I checked your website and can’t find any sort of change history describing the differences between 3.7.3 and your newest version, can’t even find your newest version number (4.0.8?). Is there anything that explains why I should upgrade?

You can find out about each release of FolderMatch at this address:
http://www.foldermatch.com/fmhistory.htmThere’s not detailed information about v4 in there as it’s almost entirely rewritten from the ground up. The list of changes would be in the hundreds so we simply discuss the changes from a high-level for that release. You can always download it and try it freely for 30 days. The trial is fully functional. If you don’t want to upgrade you can always continue freely using FM 3.7.3 for as long as you want. It works fine on Win 10 both 32 & 64 bit.

Salty Brine SoftwareInstalled and registered without any problems. Nice program which is simple and easy to use. Its just what I needed at the moment to sort out my backup hard drive which is in a mess with file every where….. thank you very much!
I have downloaded and installed the program 7 times today with no success , but STILL no success . Version 4.0 keeps coming up , hence no registration is possible .
Please help by giving te correct version for download , viz Version 3.7 .3I have uninstalled previous downloads and now reinstalled the program and EUREKA !!!! it works ,all ok now .

in my opinion GoodSync. I´ve use(d) both tools, in fact, after testing there is here just GoodSync running. There is no german language GUI in Folder Match 3.7.3 and it´s an very old looking Style to used this Tool. In the short time, here´s offering the 4.0.8 Version, but these version we all here can´t activate. New looking Style of the GUI and with german language.
The fix of this activation problem – is here now the offer of the old 3.7.3 version of FolderMatch. No way – for me. Mabey when the new Version is comming up here, i´ll test ist one more time – and not just for a trial Version Test.[@Hube]
Both are good pieces of software – it really depends on your needs and preferences. Download FolderMatch v3.7.3 and see if it meets your needs. Can’t beat the price!
