No matter how many times I tried to activate following the instructions given, there is no way it works

You probably have a previous version that is still activated. At the very bottom right, you can see the version number installed (which should this version). You can change the license by clicking on the word PRO at the end of that line. You will then see a dialog that allows you to change the license. Your e-mail address and old license number will be displayed in form fields that you can change. Enter the new license key and make sure you used the same e-mail or change it to the one you used for this version.
Slick maintenance utility — always happy with a Glary giveaway. It does its job quickly and without complicating my life. My laptop has SSD, thus I skip Glary’s disk defrag functions, as well as registry cleanup/defrag.
VirusTotal says it’s infected.
