    Excellent MANUAL tools:

Advanced Tools > click on the lower dot [:] to see individual tools, then:
    > Backup > Drivers
    > Hard disks > Boot defragment
    > System Control > Context menus
    > System Control > Startup items

I set options to zero memory resident, no deep registry scan, and inspect what “tracks” and temp files to keep or delete, nothing automatic:

    Menu > Settings

Then [ 1-Click Maintenance ] is safe and quick, but you can use the icons across the bottom for single tasks instead.

Then click on the [ ↑ ] at the bottom to see a web page listing of other programs to update manually ( not the (^) )

Nice controls, the cleanign seems safe, and the update page to manually download from is under my control, I can ignore or update, control the installation, no problems.

Glarysoft Glary Utilities seems to be a reliable and safe tool.

Those are my prime routine tools uses.

There are many other tools in here, so explore and share your experiences.

If anyone uses any automatic features, please report in, I prefer to run things manually, so I can’t report on automatic features.

    – – – – – – – – – –

What would I improve or add or change?

    – Make all windows re-sizable ( kudos for the ones that already are re-sizable ).

    – Make all lists exportable to text files.

    – But labels or at least tool-tips on all icons.

    – Change [ Ignore List Manager ] to [ Manage Ignored Items ]

    – Really take over Chrome extensions to delete them and especially to block automatic re-installation.

    – Redesign the [ Context Menu Manager ] to show what the right-click context item looks like in Windows File Explorer

    – Please update the [ Details ] for [ Start Up Manager ], especially for [ Windows Services ] – the current descriptions are terse jargon, not helpful.

I think there is a constant lifetime license key from EaseUS for this software.

An excellent product, but I see no mention that the offer is for a one year licence. When I activate (and by the way, I cannot see any REFRESH key mentioned in your instructions), I am told that the licence expires in one year.

REcently had to un-install Glary Tools Pro. Conflict with a COREL product.
Didn’t have the license info, so I lost it. Tried contacting Glary, to get my license back, but they were VERY uncooperative.
You now have it offered again, so thank-you!!!!

    [@Allan Cruickshanks]

You complain it does not mention it is a 1-year offer

    Terms and Conditions:
This is a 3-computer 1-year license, for noncommercial use
You get free upgrades for one year

    Hi Peter,

I seem to recall that some years back there was some major issue with Glary Utilities, or something they did that got me to a “Don’t Go There” decision . . . but I can’t recall the details just now, and would have to dig deep to backtrace whatever it was. That’s the thing: one bad choice or bad behavior from a company or product — even temporarily — can stick in the back of your mind for quite some time. (Meanwhile, I became a longtime user of the somewhat parallel Win Utilities Pro, which I found to be quite good and which also gets offered here periodically.) Perhaps your memory is better on this score. Then again, things change — as with your mentioning that Ant Downloader had cleaned up it’s act considerably and was no longer so widely intrusive when its services were not even being called upon. That left me willing to give them another shot, the next time they turn up here.

    Hi
    RE Glary Utilities Pro 5

I have the same problem as your Guest Gary Williams:
Hangs up and won’t install on my windows 10 computer.
I usually don’t have a problem installing your freebies so this problem appears to be at your end.
Please correct because I certainly would like to install your offer
    Thankyou
    Paul

The Glary Utilities Pro program is great. But I find as with other utility programs some features missing in this program that other utility programs provide. For example Advanced SystemCare Pro has a component called WinFix. The Advanced Fix component found in WinFix enables you to restore your Desktop icons and fixes problems with Cortana.

Smart Defrag Pro does a far better job at defragging my computer. I run it after I have used the defrag component of Glary Utilities Pro. There is a free version of Smart Defrag available that will probably work just as well as the professional version. Try the free version to see if it meets your needs.

What I do like about Glary Utilities is that it includes a number of applications that you would have to buy separately if you purchased Advanced SystemCare Pro like the defrag, driver updater, and uninstaller applications.

So, it is probably a good idea to have both Glary Utilities Pro and Advanced SystemCare Pro which I do. Avoid doing deep registry cleaning but if you do, use either program but only one of them.
