What a piece of junk. License is only good for 1 year then you have to buy it and they don’t sell lifetime licenses. I’m not a fan of subscription software. I won’t be installing it. I have had this program before and it really wasn’t that good. Thought I’d give it another try to see if anything has changed. Programs that have a lifetime license are much better. It seems Glary hasn’t learned anything.

Monte, I agree with you 100%, but honestly I have found it not necessary to purchase programs like this or very similar. You can bet that prior to the 1 year license expiring there will be another promotion on a subsequent version of the software offered for free like this one. It is a pain to have to keep downloading, installing and registering each year, but maybe that is just the price you pay (vs $$$) to use the software for a year.

I agree with you definitely that I would rather PAY for a lifetime license if offered than keep getting the free version each year.

FREE version works fine, I’ve never used the paid version features anyway.

It’s just tools, and the two I use daily are:

    – boot defrag

    – startup items

The “other” software update feature is nice in that it lets me download master copies of “other” software to update and I can decide if and when to install them.

There are lots of other tools.

Most importantly, I’ve never had a computer problem caused by Glary Utilities.

Even if we had a Lifetime license, the software would still get updates, so we would still be downloading every so often anyway.

Regardless, I much prefer a Lifetime License. it gives me comfort that no matter what happens, I will not be left behind.

It is not bad really. The only problem with this kind of programs is that it is not for rookies. You must know what you are doing, otherwise it is better to not use it. Instead seek for tech assistance.

Panda detected virus so couldn’t run or install.
