I have HDS from a previous giveaway. Can I install this newer version over the older version, or should I uninstall the older version first? In general, what is it safe to install newer versions over older ones? Thanks!

Nice program. But it is the same version as previous giveaways.
Just downloaded this free utility. The process was fast and easy. I have not used it to it’s full capacity yet but all the previous posts were very positive. I am using an SSD so I thought it would be useful.
I currently have the professional version installed. I see this giveaway is the standard version but is a later version than mine with some improvements. If I install this giveaway will it downgrade my version from professional to standard.
Programm version is not 5.40, but 5.01

Gioantonnell, well seen! I’ve already installed Hard Disk Sentinel Pro 5.50, lifetime license, so I don’t need an older version without update.
I only notice that once again, Sharewareonsale is always behind Giveawayoftheday …Hi. I install Hard disk Sentinel. It states on the shareware site that there are still 3 days to go before the offer ends, but after unzipping it and running it I received a message saying ‘this version of Hard Disk Sentinel has expired; the installation is not possible.
Could you please give an answer to this problem before the opportunity to use it runs out. Thank you.
