NO OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE THE SOURCE OF THE MUSIC. YOU HAVE TO COPY WHAT IS COMING THROUGH THE SPEAKERS.TO MY UNTRAINED EAR, THE COPIED MUSIC DID NOT HAVE THE GOOD SOUND THAT THE MUSIC BEING COPIED HAD.
AT FIRST, I THOUGHT THAT THERE WAS NO OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE A FOLDER FOR COPIED MUSIC. AFTER PLAYING AROUND WITH IT, I FOUND THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE BY THE TEDIOUS PROCESS OF BROWSING FOR THE FOLDER THROUGH THE PROGRAM’S MAIN WINDOW AND CLICKING ON THE CLOSED FOLDER ICON. IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO PASTE THE FOLDER INTO THE WINDOW.
I PROBABLY WOULD NOT BUY IT AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE. BUT IF THE ABOVE CONS WERE RESOLVED, I MIGHT PAY TWICE THAT AMOUNT FOR IT.

I just downloaded this and put my default folder to desktop. Then I recorded a short audio and when I went and told it to remove all (that audio I had just recorded) it deleted every single file on my desktop. WTF?!?! There is no undo option. DO NOT TRUST THIS PROGRAM. It just ruined my life.
Why do two posts, from different authors, have identical content? And all the other comments (so far) tell a very different story? Seems rather suspicious.
Deleting ALL files when trying to clear a song… is there no warning about what the program is about to do? Did the person who posted that have non-audio files on desktop that were deleted?
Until you trust a program, never run it on real data or in folders with other files.
As for the person concerned about poor quality of recording, was bit rate set low like 128 or 96? Can it be changed to 256 or 320? Did you try saving to FLAC instead of MP3?

Sorry, but this app is rubbish. It does record, but completely ignores settings to record as mp3, and instead records and saves as wav format. Also, even the wav file audio is at a tiny fraction of the volume of the original sound. Tried on both video and youtube, with same result.
Clicking on the little ‘Edit’ icon does …. absolutely nothing.
So glad SoS had this as a free offer, as I’m so glad I didn’t pay for it :(
