Other email client updates sooner or later reset my settings. It’s a particular pain when they download all of my emails and then remove then from the server. Does Hiri have this issue?

I am attempting to ad my account to HIRI. I enter my hotmail email address (not this one) and my password. I know the PW is correct but HIRI says my password might be wrong and won’t let me continue. Do you have code that requires a password to be a certain length or other qualifications. Don’t make any such assumptions, please.

I installed trial today and then bought Hiri on sharewareonsale. I uninstalled Hiri and installed from installer downloaded from sharewareonsale, but it says that I’m on trial period and it will end within 14 days.
    Please help.

    Hi Steve,

Hiri won’t delete emails it downloads from the server. If you choose not to use Hiri, everything should be as you left it.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Ashraf,

Hiri is only available as a desktop client at the moment. We do have plans for a mobile client, but it’s going to be a while.

    All the best,
    Dave

    Hi Bartek,

You will need to locate and delete the hiri folder, download from SoS and reinstall. Once you restart Hiri you should be on the SoS license.

Here’s where to find the hiri folder file:

    On Windows
    – Go to Run
    – Type %localappdata%/hiri
    – delete the folder

    On Mac
    – Open the Finder
    – In the File menu choose Go -> Go to Folder
    – Type /Users/davidpower/Library/Application Support/hiri (replace davidpower with your username)
    – delete the folder

    On Linux
    – $HOME/.local/share/hiri/
    delete the folder

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Ashraf & Dave,

The links provided are only for Windows & Mac.
    There’s no SoS Linux version.

    I’m so sad…

“…desktop email client that helps you get your email under control”

Only if you use Exchange, Office 365 and Outlook.com.

“Hiri is particularly suitable for managers who receive a lot of email and want to improve their communication skills.”

Only if you use Exchange, Office 365 and Outlook.com.

“Works with Exchange, Office 365 and Outlook.com”

Works ONLY with Exchange, Office 365 and Outlook.com. Uninstalled.

    Hi [@Dave]

    Thanks for help.
Unfortunately this does not work for my main email address because I started trial with that email and I think Hiri checks that on servers and set trial to 13 days.
I created new email just for testing purposes and it works fine (it displays Trial 365 days), but when I get back to my main email it still says 13 days.
