GuestI tried this software a while back. It has a steep learning curve and was way to complex for my simple needs.

GuestPer the developer’s website, IvyBackup is available as a Home Edition, Standard Edition, or Professional Edition. Based on the price, the edition offered on SoS is the “Standard” edition ($42). The Standard edition does not do “incremental” backups.
For several years, the (Standard edition) has been offered on several Giveaway sites, and each time, the terms “incremental and differential” are listed in the features, however the Standard edition given away does not do “incremental” backups. When the developer is asked about these statements, he has always dodged the question, or given a partial answer that never gives the full details.
The program saves the backups in a Zipped format. If you do a search on “how to do incremental backup using 7-zip” you can accomplish the same thing.

GuestHello, Thanks for this SW.
I was reading more about the backup program because I used so many. And many most were noct good enough. This one looks good. But did not test yet.
One big surprise to me: Very small company, very young (2017) AND ivybackup is the only product.
What surprised me most: Head Quarter is in Kitwe, Zambia. Will this really be the very first all African SW that I will test/use? That is not bad. Promissing.
Kudu Computing has a clean and well done Homepage. But does anybody have hands on experience with this SW and company?
If I use a SW to do backup of my important data, I must trust the company and the SW completely.Does anybody have real life experience ? Thaks for s short feedback,
Regards, DanielKeith Hamm
GuestDownloaded and installed. Copied/Pasted the registration info from that screen. Closed and reopened the program as instructed. Had to re-enter the registration info. And it gave me a 30-day trial. Well, we’ll see if and how it works over the 30 days, then uninstall.

Thanks for that. Viewing desktop site on phone screen is not always a good idea. :-)
