This is the same problem I experienced when this was given away before.
When I signed up for this & tried to create an ebook this is the message I get:
“There has been a problem connecting to the AI. Your OpenAI API key is either missing or invalid – Please set it correctly in your Settings dashboard.”There is nothing in the settings to set this up, & there is no explanation of how to fix this problem.
Also this is a web only app that you have to use online, which is a bummer.

It’s okay that you need the Internet, as this is an AI program. Also, few people have powerful computers (well, who wants to wait 1.5 hours for generation on ordinary computers offline) and need a lot of space for databases
I’m getting the same message as Sean when I try to create an eBook this is also the message I get:

Your OpenAI API key is either missing or invalid – Please set it correctly in your Settings dashboard.” I go to my “Setting” and the API Key is missing why I don’t know maybe I’ll only get one if I pay for the program! Does this offer not come with a API Key provided? as we need one for the program to work.Interesting idea, but it’s basically just a web service that’s a front-end to ChatGPT. And like the others here, I tried it last time it was given away a few months ago, and it never worked – no problem getting an api key from ChatGPT, but this service always reports an error with ChatGPT. The developer is in Australia – maybe there’s some region restriction he hasn’t realized?
Sadly, Jasrati fail YET AGAIN!
Apart from only youngsters capitalising every letter in a sentence, they fail to be able to keep a database of emails and passwords. (I received the same problem with 2 previous giveaways from SharewareOnSale, which was temporarily sorted after submitting ‘complaints’ to Jasrati Suppot, and I’ve found myself having to submit yet another ‘complaint’ to them. Hopefully, they’ll get around to sorting this out too, though I’m not holding my breath.)
Three times today I’ve clicked on Forgot Password? in the hope that someone would send me a new password, and I’m greeted with: “If your email was found then a new password has been emailed to you. Don’t forget to check your SPAM folder.” I’ve received nothing from them, though I have received a link from Ashraf at SharewareOnSale, but I still can’t login!

I made an OpenAI account as asked, got the API key, then failed !
Will it be possible that similar services like this is just a way to collect many OpenAI keys from different users? Will they re-use the collected OpenAI keys for other purposes by queueing use of each collected keys in an insignificant amount so that users might not be aware of the minor extra expenses of their OpenAI monthly usage fees?
Am I too suspicious on such free services?[@Benny] And I had the same suspicion about the MonsterWriter that was given away a short time ago. Why convert to PDF on the program’s website if it can be done locally using dozens of virtual PDF printers?
A buggy website. when I switch to: ebook . jastaro . com/app/login.php and I enter my email and password, this login window appears again
With this offer of free AI Ebook Maker, came the offer to buy “Jasrati AI Images Ace – Unlimited Edition” for 7,99 dollar.
I bought this on 22 april 2024.
But I did’t get access to this and the promissed instructions to make an accound were not send.
Several times I asked support (by mail and also by making a ticket, but I don t get an answere at all.
So I paid 7,99 dollar for nothing ?
