What happens after 6 months – do we lose all functionality or only tech support access?

There is one and only one file manager on earth. Without it, it’s impossible to be really efficient with a computer. Its name is “Total Commander”. You can even use it with all of its features without having to pay but it will be a pleasure to pay for it, if you want to, to retribute the hard work of the real genius who made it. After 20 years of using it, I still discover treasures in it. At ghisler.com

I think the best app is the one someone starts with and learns how to use. I remember Ontrak peddling “Powerdesk Pro” many years ago and I still use it. It’s changed hands when it first came out. Though it looks like TC, they appear to be almost the same and has the same features.

FWIW, powerdesk pro v9 is $20 cheaper then Totalcommander. They seem to do the same thing.

just the fact that it has an icon from rarlab, copied, I’m not interested in that kind of thing. another piece of crap, useless.. it doesn’t do anything more than winrar, less yes. winrar, it works even after 30 days, it displays a window at startup and that’s it. I’m not a fan of paying over and over again for something, I pay only once, because it’s just not stored in the clouds

[@tc uscg] you are talking nonsense. total commander does not deal with archives. the fact that it has access and unarchives for you is done through your payment for total commander, which transfers a fractional share to rarlab, through which you have access to the rarlab api and dll in total commander
