    One tip to everyone. You can update the download engine from the “Main Menu” under “Tools/Update Download Engine”. It is recommended to do this whenever you face issues when downloading videos.

    IMPORTANT: No restriction on this update (life time access to updates of the download engine).

    After installing, McAfee AV stops the program from running, saying it contain a virus. Don’t know if it true or a false positive but it isn’t worth taking the chance.

    Do not worry about that. To download videos simply go to “File/New” and in the dialogue box that appears choose either the “YouTube” or the “Web” tab.

    The red indicator is only for the cover downloader, not the video downloader. The cover downloader service is free, but if you would like to download DVD and Blu-ray covers, you need to register. The indicator will remain red (OFF) unless you register.

    The process C:\Program Files (x86)\My Film Kiosk\MFK.exe manifests ransomware behavior and was blocked. Several files were encrypted by it and we couldn’t automatically restore all of them. You can find the files to be restored below.

    Tried to download a music video from youtube using this program and got this from my AV ,anything known about this program ? i was just fixing to buy it

    Seems to install, but at end get setup error message – Unable to execute file: C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\MyFilmKiosk|MFK.exe
    CreateProcess failed: code 5. Access is denied.

    Uninstalled, tried again, same result. Uninstalled, ran setup as administrator, same result. Any thoughts on what to try?

    Our application contains special code that helps protecting it against piracy. This protection is added by a packer from a company called Oreans Technologies. The problem is that some Antivirus can sometimes confuse the protection code and generate a false positive.

    In any case, the application do not encrypt any file on your computer or do any other harm whatsoever. Could you please tell us the exact name and version of your antivirus? This will help us to work with the false positive you are experiencing.
