Many MP3 devices, such as my car’s stereo, have USB flash drive readers and/or SD card readers. Mine seems to read and play the files in alphabetical order. I’d like to hold the original play order on albums (especially live albums as often a concert flows in a particular order for affect). Does this software, or something else, accomplish this? I’ve seen a lot of partial solutions out there but many have “expired” as in the website is dead or non functioning. I don’t know if the terminology of “tagging” is what I’m looking for, or, maybe that’s just to “I.D.” the file with the correct artist and title?

I know this is a common problem and yet other potential solutions tend to be fairly technical and I can’t tell after they ramble with the “techno-speak” if it will fix this issue for the. My files have track numbers, but, the reader in the stereo seems to revert to alphabetical. Freakin’ car companies could maybe get a clue?
