Nero Platinum SE is a Special Edition or the guenuine Nero Platinum SUITE ?
When “Try the new Nero Start” is uncheck: the title of the program is “Nero Platinium Suite SE”.
When check, the title is “Nero Start”. The both version are “27.5.35.0”.
For me, after two updates, here is the list of available programs:
Nero 2020 22.0.03400
Nero TuneltUp 3.10.2.0
Nero Info 27.5.1.1
Nero DuplicateManager Photo 27.5.1.1
Nero Start 27.5.35.0
Nero Burning ROM & Express 27.5.1.11
Nero Basic Content Pack 1.0.24.0
Nero Al Image Upscaler 27.5.9.0
1001 TVs (PC) 6.8.6.8Nero BackItUp uncheck
Nero AI Image Upscaler (too limited) 2.0.43.0 uninstalled.

Tried it and it required an update, which is $40. Installs a lot of things that I definitely do not want. No choice of WHERE to install. Uninstalled w/o trying. Nero used to be a much better software company…
Uninstall does not happen automatically, like install does.
You have to manually remove each program, and then eliminate all residual traces in the registry base.
Regarding AI, the limitations are only unlocked if you pay. But, just for a new request quota pack, never for an unlimited use!
It’s not by chance that everyone is rushing down this path, it’s very profitable ; especially with an automatically renewed subscription.
Personally, I uninstalled this offer which is not the guenuine version of Nero Platinum 2025.
Concerning disc burning which participated in the launch of Nero, free programs currently exist, but who is interested in that?
Since becoming a gas plant, are all the added programs really useful?
Some are outdated OEMs.Basically a highly stripped down light version that installs tons of extra stuff. I would rather just brick my own computer than use it. Thanks anyway.
