I did that in may 2015. Same offer as today.
O&O Defrag 18 Pro with free updates (60% discount $29.95) $12.05
Today I tried to install the first update since may (v19) – my registration code was invalid.
I wrote to OO-support and asked What did I pay for?
Answer:
“You paid for the O&O Defrag 18 PRO license, which is still valid and active without any time limitation.
The sentence “You get free updates for same major Version” is self explanatory. It means that you receive update for the SAME major version. O&O Defrag 19 is not the same major version.”
You pay and get nothing!Wish I had given the $12.05 to “Medecins Sans Frontiers” instead.
