Hi,
Up on downloading and running this program for the very first time, I encountered a question asking me did I want to check for any new updates? Am I to say yes for this one time only or say no as I read were there will be no updates for the free version. Just wasn’t sure what to do upon the first download and runThanks

Just download and install your O&O DiskImage 15 Pro.
I already put my e-mail in field and click “Request free license” and the page does not go and no e-mail confirming me registration.
Ans Spam folder is empty.

I downloaded the O&O program as directed and sent the email to get the registration code but have not received anything from O&O in over 24 hours. I understand that it could take some time to get a reply but does this mean that will not be able to register it since the program is not being offered after yesterday? Is there a way to still get the registration other than to purchase a lifetime offer from O&O?
Everything went fine until it neared the end of the download. It said it couldn’t finish the installation because file is not available. can’t access it.

Well, yeh… I don’t have a creative cloud directory and went to great trouble to get rid of that invasive stuff. There is no opportunity to change installation directories. Can you tell me how?Yes, I know, I prolly did the creative cloud thing wrong and would be pleased to have better instruction.

Does it fix MBR?
Has anyone used this and Macrium Reflect and can share which is better? I have used Macrium Reflect Home Free version for 3 years now and has never failed me. So wondering if this is better than MR?
Thanks for the offer. I downloaded from the original sharewareonsale page and duly completed your German language registration page. After waiting two days for an activation key, I assumed that the Seriennummer was, indeed, the activation (or registration key) because it fitted the required format. However, that was not the correct key. Must I continue to wait or re-download again from that same information box? A German language copy of the program would be useless to me.
I have seen several other customers with the same problem but I could not access any reply or help from your end.2x say is registered, but when check or restart, says is not. Very irritating! Don’t have the rest of my life to try this!!

Never mind, the program could not see that drive so could not install there. It did see and let me install to a “D” partition as opposed to “C”. Though the entire process of obtaining and registering the program seems a bit convoluted, with reading and following the instructions it all went smoothly.

Its bootable 64-bit W7PE discs are so buggy (oversized GUI like its EULA screen, desktop icons’ texts, errors, and crashes) in my very old PCs! No problems with older versions like v12.3 b201 and v14.6 b419. Bad QA! :(
