Licence received promptly from O&O. Installed on Windows 10 (64) but get following error message when I try and run:
“You are either not the local administrator for this computer or do not belong the the group of local administrators. In order to use O&O DiskRecovery you must be a member of this group. Please contact your system administrator for more information. This application will now be closed”
I am the only administrator on this PC, I can run any other program as administrator so not sure why I’d be getting this message. Useless to me if it doesn’t run! Uninstalled.Jan 14, 2018 at 5:42 am #10092403

I did not have any problems with the registration or download. The emails were received almost instantly.
The issue I have with today’s offer is that the program does NOT allow for the “Instant-Installation” option to allow the O&O program to run from a “portable disk”. I tried installing the program to a Western Digital USB drive and a 16 GB thumb drive. I typed in the other drive location (drive f in my computer) and got the message that the program had to be installed on a local system drive. At no time during the installation process prior to the installing program message did any “dialogue” appear allowing me to select the “Instant-Installation” option as describe in O&O’s documentation.Jan 14, 2018 at 2:38 pm #10097734

When installing, the installer does NOT produce a desktop icon. You have to create one from the Program Files of your C: drive! Tsk-tsk! The software company (O&O) takes a long, long time to respond with a registration code. After two days, I STILL DO NOT HAVE ONE!Jan 14, 2018 at 10:49 pm #10100961
