I have not tried this program but nonetheless thankful to the makers for offering their work here for free , thanks very much ,at the same time i wonder if there others that think like me that this type of program and anti virus as a whole has seen better days and is now pass their ‘sell-by date’ ,I am using a popular one and at every turn it is offering to further protect me from some threat even when i visit my bank site on line they have everything built in updating themselves every day and sending info back from our systems that we dont know about, once we had to have a strong firewall but now every school kid can get around a firewall without problems , not to mention the government who secretly install programs on our computers that cannot be detected by these programs .Do we really need them still ??

Regarding free anti-virus nowadays, most users will not pay up for the “paid-for” version, so the developers have come up with new ways of making money from these products, by doing such simple things as changing your browser’s start page, adding browser toolbars, and hijacking your preferred search engine to adding in their own tracking software to monitor and collect data that they can re-sell for even more money.

Some of the ones we used to consider our favorites have turned on us. It is better these days to invest in a decent anti-badware that does only that, defend us from the bad guys.
